Lodged

Support

The fastest way to get help: open Lodged, click Something wrong?, then Email support with this report. The report lists statuses only (no tokens, page addresses, titles, notes or database names), so we can usually tell what's wrong from the first email. We aim to reply within one business day.

Common fixes

The status bar says "Reconnect your Notion account"

Notion asks connected apps to be approved again at least every 180 days, after about a month without the browser being used, or when access was removed in Notion. Click the status bar and approve again. Saves that were waiting are kept and go through right after. Lodged warns you 10 days before the 180-day limit.

"Can't reach Notion — retrying"

You're offline, or Notion is having trouble. Your saves wait in the outbox and sync by themselves. Click the status bar to retry right away.

A save says "Database not found or no longer shared"

The database was deleted, moved to the trash, or is no longer shared with Lodged. Share it again (in Notion, open the database's ••• menu → Connections → add Lodged), then press Retry next to the save. Or press Dismiss.

My database isn't in the "Save to" list

Share it with Lodged in Notion (the database's ••• menu → Connections), then reopen the popup. Notion can take a minute to list a newly shared database.

Where did "Lodged Inbox" come from?

If no database was shared when you connected, Lodged creates one called "Lodged Inbox" in your private pages so your first save works right away. It's yours: rename it, move it, or share other databases instead.

Alt+Shift+S does nothing

Another extension may already use that shortcut. Choose your own at chrome://extensions/shortcuts (paste it into the address bar).

Selected text isn't picked up on some pages

Chrome keeps extensions out of its own pages (addresses starting with chrome://) and the Chrome Web Store. The page's title still saves; the selection can't be read there.

What does "Share anonymous daily counts" send?

Once a day, numbers only: saves delivered, failed (with the kind of error) and retried; connection attempts that worked, were cancelled or failed; reconnects needed; whether the Inbox was created. Plus the version and the date. No identifier, no titles, no addresses. It tells us when a release makes saving less reliable. Untick it under Something wrong? and the counts not yet sent are deleted too.
